Information about our surroundings - Diani Beach

Justs imagine...

Sitting on the terrace of your home, experience this magnificent sunset…
Diani Beach - a paradise, one of the last in this world, is located near Mombasa, Kenya, on the south coast, one of the most beautiful beaches, right on the Indian Ocean, and in the little "Pearl of Africa". It is considered Kenya's ideal vacation spot. The beach with its white sand and offshore coral reef is flawless; it is never crowded, always very clean.

Diani Beach only has about 15 hotels altogether so vacationers as well as residents can be certain to have a peaceful, quiet stay. The dazzling variety of flora and fauna creates a real paradise. In this littlespot: there is unspoilt nature here, and in the background only about 30 km linear distance away "Shimba Hills", a natural reserve and home to almost all type`s of african wild animals.

Diani Beach has excellent infrastructure. Despite its rural African setting you can find - in your immediate surroundings - excellent restaurants, shops, physicians, high standard hospitals, bank service, car and bike rental agency, gas stations, the opportunity for deep-sea-fishing, surfing, snorkeling, golf, horse riding, an airstrip for small aircrafts, safari expeditions and - if you like - a disco and nightclub (out of sight and sound distance from the villas) etc...

Diani Beach has all the characteristics of a perfect beach: Immaculate white sand, remote inlets, lines of palmtrees, turquoise waters, luxurious hotels and villa resorts, and water temperatures that never fall below 21 degree Celsius. Visitors will find an impeccably clean Indian Ocean at their front door - a spotless beach of their dreams that insures untarnished bathing pleasures. Offshore you can see Dhows sailing towards Zanzibar and fishermen in their crudely-framed outrigger boats.

The offshore coral reef, a scuba diver's eldorado, turns into an island for sun worshippers when the ocean retreats during low tide. Large groves of swaying palm trees and gnarled baobab trees wrap up this tropical picture where time passes "slow and easy", or, as Kenyans say "polepole". More than ideal conditions to help today's stressed individuals unwind and relax body and soul.

Architects have successfully avoided creating high-rise blocks seen in European tourist centers. Hotels and villas are integrated into the landscape, often nestled amongst lush tropical vegetation, ancient baobab trees, coconut palms and red, orange and white flowering bougainvilleas. Architecturally, the buildings more often than not, resemble African style homes.

Your will be hard-pressed to find villas and bungalows in East Africa of similar quality and quantity than those we are constructing in Kenya.
